Wilson, of the Borough Council, in reference to the Medway street section, and it was agreed to write to the council again; explaining that it was not the intention of the association to make and maintain this section as a parking area, but the association suggested to the council this site was suitable for a parking area. It was pointed out this would be only for a short time, as the area was included in the plan for the development of Takaro Park. The sub-committee’s action was approved, and it was suggested that the official opening. take place on a Saturday evening. It was reported that the Maheno bridge was now open for traffic. Eight new members were elected. The use of the motor camp was granted to the North and South Schools for their annual picnics.
