VISIT TO DOMINION SIR GEORGE AYLWEN ARRIVES P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 17. Sir George Aylwen, who is expected to be elected Lord Mayor of London next June, arrived from Britain to-day by the motor ship Waipawa on a business and pleasure visit to the Dominion. Sir George is senior partner in the London firm of J. and A. Scrimgeour, who are financial advisers to the New Zealand Government, and, who have arranged all the New Zealoan loans in Britaih. Sir George said he had looked forward to his visit to- the Dominion to renew old acquaintances, and also to give him a rest before he took up his new appointment in June. He was one of the sheriffs of the City of London last year. Another of last year’s sheriffs, Mr C. G. Dickson, also arrived by the Waipawa. Mr Dickson, who is visiting New Zealand for the textile firm of J. P. Dickson and Son, Ltd., is a life member of the Surrey County Rugby Football Union, and was a guide to the New Zealand Army fifteen when it visited London on 1 its- post-war tour of the United Kingdom. ,
