CATTLE FOR RUSSIA
BIG PURCHASES IN BRITAIN RECORD PRICE FOR BULL N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 7.30 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 17. The Soviet trade delegation which recently visited Britain purchased 800 head of British cattle, sheep and pigs, which have now been shipped to Leningrad. The Russians bought Herefords, dairy and beef Shorthorn cattle, Lincoln longwool and Romney Marsh sheep, and Large White pigs. They paid a record firice for a pedigree Hereford bull. .
