NEW AIR SERVICE TO SYDNEY GREEK MIGRANTS COMING . SYDNEY, Nov. 15. A new charter air service called European Air Transport Company will begin operations between Athens and Sydney within the next few weeks. The operations manager Mr Marcel, says that the company will use Lockheed Hudson aircraft to bring out hundreds of Greeks waiting to come to Australia. He is an Australian-born Greek.
Two planes brought Greek migrants to Sydney during the week-end. A Sunderland flying boat of Transoceanic Airways brought 23 Greek migrants from Cairo who had been stranded there for many months when the Sunderland was retained at Cairo because of the cholera epidemic. A Lockheed of Intercontinental Air Tours arrrived from London carrying eight British visitors and four Italian and Greek migrants. The trip from London, arranged by American Travel Headquarters, took nine days.
