MEMORIAL WINDOW

On Sunday a memorial window m honour of the men of St. Martin s parish who made the supreme sacrifice in the 1939-45 war, was unveiled and dedicated at a .special service by Dean A C H Button. The window, designed by Mr J. Brock, shows a Christian warrior fully armed, and contains rich and pleasing colouring. The inscription on the window reads: “To the glory of God and in memory of those of this parish who made the supreme sacrifice in World War, 193945/’ Beside the window has been placed a brass tablet containing their names.
