Withdrawals for the first day of the Wellington meeting are due to-day . Lady Vi is in fine racing condition, and she should soon improve on her third in the Australasian Handicap at Addington.

Prominent All the Way Remlap was in the firing line all the way in the final event at the Cup meeting, and the Lusty Volo gelding should soon be at the peak of his form again. Last season he won six of his fifteen races, five of them in a row. Consistent Form
