FINAL DAY AT ADDINGTON

Special to Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 15. At Addington to-day Integrity provided a surprise when he won the Pacing Free-for-all, his first success since he took the same race last year following his New Zealand Cup win. He and Navigate were smartest out, but Navigate drew clear after two furlongs. Knave of Diamonds followed Navigate past the mile post, Integrity, Turco and Sir Michael being next. ' Highland Fling made a fast run along the back, joining Knave of Diamonds in the lead three furlongs from home. Integrity, In the Mood and Turco followed them to the straight and in a good finish Integrity stalled off In. the Mood by a neck, with Turco and Highland Fling following, and then Emulous, who was not prominent earlier. The winner had a mixed reception but the demonstration by a small section was brief.

The weather was fine and there was a good attendance. The track was fast. The totalisator handled £151,934. compared with £144,187 last year.
