PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 15.

The pan-Pacific conference of waterside workers has been postponed for some months because of labour troubles in America. It is now definitely fixed for January in Honolulu. This was disclosed to-day by the president of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union, Mr H. Barnes, who spoke last night by radio telephone to Mr H. Bridges, the leader of the American longshoremen, who is in San Francisco. The New Zealand and Australian Waterside Workers’ Unions have been delegated to arrange for representation at the conference of the Indonesian and Indo-Chinese unions. '
