GOOD LAST WICKET STAND The brightest cricket of the match between University and Albion -Y.M.CA. at the University Oval was provided by J H Heslop and D. A. Morrison in a lastwicket partnership which added 63 to the University score. Heslop s score of 44 was made In 33 minutes, and included seven 4’s Morrison was unbeaten vvitii 20 L C. Baker, who opened the innings, batted solidly for 56, which included six 4’s and a 6, and R. T. Hunt gave an attractive display of clean, crisp strokemaking for 32. . S. Duncan, who bowled steadily, was Albion’s most successful bowler with four wickets for 54 runs, and p Miller captured three/for 39. No University batsman was clean bowled. Al-bion-Y.M.C.A. lost four wickets for 80 runs, R. Robinson and H. Miller putting on 68 runs for the second wicket in 44 minutes. Miller batted nicely for 44, and Robinson scored 27.
