FIVE INJURED

CAR CRASHES INTO FENCE P.A. NAPIER, Nov. 16. Five persons were injured, two seriously, when a motor car left the road and crashed into a fence at Bayview to-night. They were Alfred Chittenden, aged 20, head injuries; Phyllis May Chittenden, aged 15 leg and back injuries, condition satisfactory; Barry Desmond Chittenden, aged 11, injuries to shoulder and shock, condition not serious, Alan Wallies Napier, aged 21, shock and abrasions; and Dulcie McCutheon, aged 17, multiple abrasions and injury to the leg, condition serious. The Chittendens are brothers and sisters. The car was extensively damaged.
