HIGH GRADE BUTTER
SHIPMENT FOR CURACAO p,A. GISBORNE, Nov. 15. About a week’s output of butter—alihost 1000 boxes—is being packed m specially prepared containers at the Kia Ora Dairy Company’s factory in Gisborne for export to Curacao, Netherlands West Indies. The packing is practically finished. The secretary, Mr J. H. Sutherland, said the company had been requested by the Marketing Department to fulfil the order as it was urgently required. One of the special requirements was for a high quality butter of Grade 94 and over The consignment is to be loaded at Napier shortly for shipment to Curacao. It is understood that the order has been accepted with a view to opening up new trade for the future, but primarily to earn dollars to assist Britain in purchasing essential commodities.
