CUP FAVOURITE

BEAU LE HAVRE SHIPPED SOUTH Special to the Daily Times WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. Beau Le Havre, favourite for the New Zealand Cup, was shipped south to-night. Ridden by his Cup jockey, W. Connor, he was worked at Otaki this morning. Beau Le Havre has a slight bruise on his near forefoot caused through clipping himself while exercising. His trainer, J. G. Farrell, said the bruise does not look extensive, but he would not know till Sunday how deeply it had penetrated. It had been treated from the moment it was done, and had not caused the horse to miss any work Mr Farrell added that he was well satisfied with the progress Beau Le Havre had made in his Cup oreparation. He had worked particular!* well this week.
