FINAL OF CHAMPIONSHIP TO-DAY SILK VERSUS AUSTRALIAN P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 14. W. A. Edgar (Commonwealth, Victoria) will meet B. M. Silk (Wanganui) in the final of the Ijew Zealand Amateur Golf Championship at the Ngamotu links, New Plymouth, to-morrow. In the semi-finals yesterday Edgar beat W. G. Horne (Wellington) the holder of the title, and Silk beat N. H. Amon (Manawatu). The games were played in' sultry weather, with the course fast. Results: — AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP Semi-finals W. A. Edgar (Commonwealth, Victoria) beat W. G. Horne (Wellington), 4 and 2. B. M. Silk (Wanganui) beat N. H. Amon (Manawatu), 6 and 5. NEW ZEALAND PLATE Semi-finals R. H. Glading (Titirangi) beat J. Holden (New Plymouth), 2 and 1. K. S. Glendinning (Manawatu) beat J. Jeffery (New Plymouth), 2 and 1. Final R. H. Glading beat K. S. Glendinning, 1 up.
