MR WALLACE DECLINES TO STAND Special to the Daily Times GREYMOUTH, Nov. 13. An official statement to the effect that he would not be. a candidate for the Westland by-election was issued to-day by Mr W. M. Wallace, of Koiterangi. * Mr Wallace added that Mr J. B. Kent was the official Labour candidate, and he had neither the wish nor the inclination to prejudice his prospects by making it a threecornered contest.
