JAFFA CITY AWARDED ARAB STATE
Rec. 11 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 12. The Palestine Partition Sub-com-mittee, discussing the boundaries of the future proposed Arab and Jewish States decided to give Jaffa City to the Arab State. • The original UNSCOP report included Jaffa in the Jewish State, but the sub-committee felt that this city with 70,000 Arabs should preferably form an enclave under Arab sovereignty in the Jewish State.
