WOMAN FOUND GUILTY
UNLAWFUL USE OF INSTRUMENT P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 12. Found guilty of using an instrument unlawfully to procure a miscarriage on July 16, Ruby Watson, a married woman, of New Plymouth, was remanded for sentence by Mr Justice Fair in the Supreme Court to-day. He would, he said, give full consideration to the strong recommendation to mercy made by the jury. On a second count, alleging unlawful use of an instrument on some young woman on July 21, the accused was found not guilty.
