DAMAGES CLAIM SUCCEEDS P.A. INVERCARGILL. Nov. 12. A verdict in favour of the plaintiff, Mrs Marjory Ogilvy, of Waikiwi, was returned by the jury in the Supreme Court, which awarded £2436 damages as the result of’ the death of her husband, Alan Stanley Ogilvy, who was electrocuted while working at Cundall’s by-products works on January 29. The plaintiff claimed £5036 on the ground of negligence. Mr Justice Kennedy said the evidence showed that the premises were unsafe for employees.
