EIGHTH ARMY COMMANDER DUE AT AUCKLAND ON MONDAY P.A. AUCKLAND. Nov. 12. Lieutenant-general; Sir Oliver Leese, who commanded the Eighth Army in Italy, and later the Allied Land Forces in South-east Asia, will arrive at I
Auckland on Monday by launch. He and Lady Leese are passengers in the Waipawa from Etngland. Because the ship is carrying 100 tons of gelignite she will anchor in the M'otuihi powder ground. ' Official representatives will travel to Motuihi by ladnch to meet General Leese on board .the Waipawa. The visitors will return to Auckland with them. !
