ROYAL WEDDING

PHOTOGRAPHS BY RADIO RECEPTION IN DOMINION P.A. WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. Provided that all tests were satisfactory, and radio conditions were sufficiently good, it was hoped to have photographs of the royal wedding in New Zealand within a few hours after the ceremony, said the Postmastergeneral, Mr Hackett, to-day. The Minister said the overseas radio photo service would be officially opened on November 20. The installation of the equipment had been completed and tests begun yesterday with Australia. Tests with the United Kingdom through Melbourne and on a second channel through the automatic relay station at Colombo were held to-day.
