SHOW ENTRIES

A. and P. Association Entries for the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show closed on Friday. The secretary. -Mr C. C. Gillies, states that good entries were received for the hacks and ponies section, there being 309 entries compared with 287 last year. Large entries had also been received for the pigs, cattle, seed, honey, and needlework sections, but in other sections entries were slightly lower than last year’s. There were only 103 entries for sheep, compared with 138 in 1946. The total number of entries received was 827. Last year’s entries numbered 957. - '
