JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

At the monthly meeting of the board of the Dunedin Junior Chamber of Commerce, Mr J. C. Scoular, chairman of the Projects Committee, stated that it had been considered advisable to postpone the calling of the initial meeting of the Safety Council until after the municipal elections. Advice was received from the national body that the February issue of New Zealand Jaycee, the National Junior Chamber magazine, would be devoted largely to the Otago centennial. A sub-committee was set up to devise ways and means of increasing the membership of the chamber, bearing in mind the policy of the board to encourage members from the trades and crafts.
