Dodds has been appointed interim moderator of Brighton. Mr Hugh Allan Henderson, M.A., Dip. Ed.. has been appointed principal of the Whangarei Boys’ High School as from March 1, 1948. the date when the retirement of the present headmaster, Mr A. R. Ryder, will come into effect, says a Press Association messages from Whangarei. For the last 16 years M r Henderson has been on the staff 'of the Dannevirke High School, where he now holds the post of first assistant. Thanks for the service hb had rendered to the Dominion during his many years or. the Bench, and best wishes for a long and happv retirement were expressed by the foreman of the grand jury. Mr M. J. White, to Mr Justice Blair in the Supreme Court at Gisborne yesterday. During his charge to the grand jury his Honor mentioned that this would be the last occasion on which he would address a grand jury in Gisborne.
