KAITANGATA CLUB The annual meeting ot the Kaitangata Defence Rifle Club was held on Saturday; (lie president (Mr M. Brown) occupying (lie chair. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted without discussion. The following officers wore elect'd: Patrons—Messrs M. Carson, J. Roy, M.P., J. Coulter. J, W. Fenton, T. Espic: president. Mr M, Brown; deputy-president Mr R. McCrostle; vice-presidents—Messrs M Myers, A. B, Aitken, J. Owens. T. Middlemass, Dr Dodds, and Messrs R. Newbum, S. Coulter, E. Hair, P Ward, D. P, Clements; secretary and treasurer. Mr W. Oliver; Executive Committee—Messrs M. Brown, R. McCrostle, R. Kitto, W. Oliver, A. Richardson, B, R. Renton, R. Anderson, J. Dick, H. L. Morgan, J. Richardson; handicappers, Messrs M. Brown and W. Oliver; trench officer, Mr J. Dick; range officer, Mr M. R. Kitto; auditor, Mr J. Charters. Opening day was fixed for October 19.
