BELLEKNOWES CLUB A sealed holes match will be played at Belleknowos to-day for a trophy presented by a member, play to be commenced at 12,30 p.m. The draw is as follows;—Miss Jefferson v. Mrs Clulee Miss D. Hindle v. Mrs Dunn, Mrs Boyd v, Mrs Lucas, Mrs Wilson v. Miss Hindle, Mrs Fountain v. Mrs Davies, Mrs Cramond v. Mrs Macpherson, Mrs Wright v. Mrs Fuller, Mrs Carolin v. Mrs Jenkinson, Mrs Mclver v. Mrs Broad, Mrs Wilkinson v. Mrs O’Reilly. Mrs Watson v Mrs Simmell, Mrs Eastgate v. Miss Allen, Mrs Fletcher v. Miss Atkinson, Mrs McLean v. Mrs Patterson, Mrs Dick v. Miss Robertson, Mrs Byers v. Mrs Bezett. The medal match played last Tuesday was won by Mrs Clulee (78—20-—53). Other good scores were:—Mrs Eastgate 88—27—61, Mrs Wilkinson 89—22—67, Mrs Davies 86 —18 —6B. Mrs Daglish 88-18—70, Mrs Fuller 99—29—70. The final of the Junior Championship was played during the week between Mrs Clulee and Mrs Fletcher, and was won by Mrs Clulee 4 and 3. The C Grade match resulted in a tie between Mrs Main and Mrs J, Skerrett. the latter winning on the count back MACANDREW BAY CLUB The final of the Macandrcw Bay Club's knock-out plate competition resulted- in a win for G. White, Who defeated F. Waller 1 up at the eighteenth The semifinals resulted as follows:—F Waller boat R. Tuose 5 and 3 G White beat J W. Manson 3 and 2 In the Stableford competition played in conjunction with these match os the following were tlm best cards: —F. Waller 17—2—19, G White 10—9—19. C. R. Palmer 10 —B—lß, II Morrow 7—9 -16 D. IT Morris 9—6—15 A REMARKABLE ROUND <Pfr United Press Association) HAMILTON, Oct. 7. The amateur golfer R. H. Glading had a remarkable round of 65 In a bogey competition at Hamilton on Saturday, this being a record for the course. Glading held the previous record of 69, Glading returned nine birdies and nine bogeys, and finished nine strokes under the scratch score of the course.
