PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Waitaki County Council held on Friday, September 27. 1940. the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council, to be held oh FRIDAY, the 25th day of October. 1940, at the County -Council Chambers. Thames street, Qamanr at 11'o’clock in the forenoon:— r -v "The Waitaki County Council, piasuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1926, and its amendments. and the Rural Housing Act, 1939. DOTH HEREBY RESOLVE by way of. SPECIAL ORDER as follows; 1- THAT the Council raise from the State Advances Corporation of . New Zealand a loan of £IO.OOO or so much thereof as may be required for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act. 1939, such loan to be called ‘The Rural Housing Loan No 1. 1940, £10,000.’ 1.
