McCREADY RETAINS TITLE; DRAWN BOUT WITH KATAN (Per United Press Association) £ WELLINGTON, Oct. 7.| : Once again the British Empire wrestling title wa> contested in Weir lington to-night, when the holder, Earl McCready. retained it by holding John Katan to a draw, one fall each. Katan had the better of the last round, but as a championship bout Cannot be. decided oft Points McCready remained the Empire champion. The bout, which wa s lively was watched by a large crowd;/McCready opened the scoring with a Tall with -a flying body scissors and press in the third round. Katan made' use of a novel toe-hold with which he took a fall in the seventh.
