CONCESSION TICKETS
SAli& ON HILL TRAMS CERTAIN fIOURS Of the sale oi concessioii vticketg; 6n the hiUahd bus services has been further considered by the Transport Committee in view of the difficulty that-.will be experienced by conductors in;selling these tickets during some cf the hours originally agreed upon. On the Mornington line, particularly, the conductor on some trips is required to collect 130 fares in seven minutes, and under these circumstances would be unable to sell concession tickets without loss of revenue. The committee has decided, therefore, that on the hill services concession tickets wilt be sold at all hours, with the following exceptions:—Week, days: 4' p.m. to 6 p.m./7 p.m. to&-p.m., JO p.m. to 11.2 b p.m. f . with the addition of 9 p.m. to $.40 p.m. on Fridays. Oh the Maryhill extension line no concession tickets will be sold in view of the fact that the gripmar on this line also acts as conductor, and it is not considered advisable to further add to his duties.
Owing to the additional concession tickets provided on these lines, for example, five on Mornington and four on as compared with three on the city lines, the committee has also decided to limit the number of tickets available to three on each service.
