ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
COLLISION WITH RAILCAR AUCKLAND TRAVELLER KILLED (Pfr United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 2. James Hurren, traveller for an'Auckland photograph enlarging firm, was killed when the motor car he was driving crashed into the centre of the New Plymouth-bound railcar at a road crossing near New Plymouth to-day. Mr Hurren, a married man of middle age. received severe head injuries, from which he died almost immediately. FALL FROM BICYCLE Murray Fyfe, a youth residing at 42 Rose eery street, was admitted to the Hospital at 9.30 a.m. yesterday, suffering from slight concussion and abrasions to the face and hands caused when he fell from his bicycle in Lonsdale street. COLLAPSE IN TRAMCAR Ada Ramsay, an elderly woman residing at 4 George street, Port' Chalmers, was admitted to the Hospital at 9.45 last evening. She suffered a collapse in a tramcar at the corner of Stuart and Castle streets.
