MISS NELLIE HERLIHY, “Countess of Maniototo,” is the daughter of Mr and Mrs J. P. Herlihy, of Patearoa. Her father is well known, not only as a farmer, but also as the owner of several successful racehorses. Miss Herlihy has earned a reputation for herself as a teacher of pianoforte. Her hobbies also reveal an artistic tendency, and she is keenly interested in painting and marquetry work. There is no doubt that she will carry out her task as Maid of Honour in a worthy manner.
