WEATHER IN SEPTEMBER

LOW SUNSHINE TOTAL RECORDINGS OF THE MONTH The month of September was comparatively mild, with very few frosts and no periods of strong winds. The rainfall was not heavy, only 1.01 Inches being recorded at the Daily Times Office for* 14 rainy days. Falls were never high, the greatest for the period being . .20 Inches. The sunshine total was not impressive, only 137 hours 50 minutes being recorded, and there were eight days on whichno sunshine was registered. Only once did the total reach double figures, the highest dally record being 10 hours 35 minutes. Temperatures were mostly mild, the highest for the month being 70 degrees.
