DAMAGE AT NARVIK

AN ASTOUNDING ESTIMATE STOCKHOLM, Sept. 26. (Received Sept. 27, at 9.30 p.m.) The Sunnmoers Posten says the damage to the port and town of Narvik, including ships wrecked in the harbour, is estimated at £22,000,000. The Swedish Iron Ore Company alone has suffered £7,250,000 damage. Ninety-five houses have been partly or wholly destroyed and 27 civilians have been killed.
