“QUIET WEDDING”

REPERTORY SOCIETY’S PLAY A lively comedv of an excited family’s preparations for the wedding of the youngest daughter, “Quiet Wedding,” which the Dunedin Repertory Society will present for the final time in His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, is a play that is full of entertainment, and is one that gives full scope for the well-chosen and capable cast. There have been few plays produced by the society that could match “ Quiet Wedding” for gaiety, life, and action, and its light-heartedness is just what is needed in these difficult days. Produced by Miss Bessie Thomson, the play is notable for its cast, which contains such accomplished players as Mrs Dora McPherson, Miss Mary Jolly, Mrs Katrina Speight, Mrs Grace Douglas, Mr L. J. T. Ireland, Mr T. A. Tarrant, and Mr Roland Watson. The minor parts are also well handled, and contribute to the notable success achieved.
