BURNSIDE STOCK SALE
HEAVY BULLOCKS EASIER SHEEP VALUES APPRECIATE Cattle were forward in larger numbers at the Burnside slock sale yesterday, and heavy bullocks were easier, while other classes remained unchanged Sheep values rose in a short market. A fairly large entry of fat cattle came forward—SOl being penned, against 200 last week. The quality througout the varding was on a par with recent entries Bullocks again predominated, prime cows and heifers being in short supply The sale opened with values for prime heavy bullocks easier by about 20s per head, and all other grades sold on a par wtin last week’s rates. Prices remained at this level throughout the auction.
