DUNEDIN COMMUNITY SING

The proceeds from the community sing to be held in the Strand Theatre at noon on Friday will be presented to the Army Queen, Miss Airini Grennell. A special attraction will be the first appearance of the Castalian Singers under the leadership of Miss Mavis Macdonald. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be leader, with Mr Alf Pettitt at the piano. A good programme of army tunes and popular melodies will be sung. A woman's handbag and a solid leather golf bag will be offered for sale. Donations and " cheerios " may be sent to Mr J. A. Himburg at Begg's.
