MISS ALWYN NICHOL, "Countess of Waikouaiti," is one of the most popular girls of the district which she has been selected to represent as a maid of honour to the Air Force Queen. She Is the daughter of Mr and Mrs J. M. Nichol, her father being the manager of the well known Kia Toa Station. In addition to assisting her mother, she is a teacher of elocution. She also finds time for her hobbies of riding, lawn tennis, swimming, and basketball.
