MOSGIEL FIRE BRIGADE

An enjoyable social was held by the Mosgiel Fire Brigade on Saturday night. The hall was comfortably filled with members and friends. Superintendent J. White presided over the function, which had been arranged for the purpose o! entertaining Firemen Lawson Smeaton and James Wright," both of whom had recently been married., Presentation! were made to both firemen. Mr S. McLeod provided music for the dances, and those contributing to the programme were Mrs Craigie and Miss' Crossan (recitations), Mrs McMillan/Mr B. Wilkin* and Master Edmond (vocal items). Messr»R. Scott and J. Mutch (vocal duet), ant Miss Edmond (tap dance).
