THE RABBIT PROBLEM
TO I'HE EDITOR
Sir, —The report in your issue of Friday, August 13, of a combined meeting of the Manuwherikia and Leaning Rock Rabbit Boards was unfortunately lacking in detail. Though stating that the scheme suggested was fully discussed, important details were omitted. Would Mr Bodkin, Mr Denize or anyone present at the meeting supply the following information:—Are the skins caught to be retained and sold by the workers, or do they become the property of the Government or the board? How many men will be employed by these two boards? Is it proposed that the foregoing scheme embrace all rabbit boards or the Manukerikia and Leaning Rock Boards alone? —I am, etc., Interested. Hyde. Sept. 18.
