CENTRAL OTAGO CENTRE The twenty-seventh annual meeting ot tiie Central Otago Bowling Centre was held at Clyde on Saturday Dr R E Austin presided. The following officers were appointed toi the incoming season President, Mr W. A Harlow; vice-presidents. Mr F Laloli (senior). Mr A. K. Hamilton (junior): secretary and treasurer, Mr J L. Davidson; auditor, Mr W K George: selector Mr J, L. Davidson; executive—president, vicepresident. secretary. Messrs W K. George W. Hewitt, R. E Austin, H. T. Wilkinson A radical change was made in the itinerary for the season. In order to reduce the travelling, only six matches will be played by each club, and one official opening held. Permission to hold tournaments were granted to the Alexandra. Miller’s Flat. Cromwell. Roxburgh Bannockburn and Clyde Clubs. The centre’s Easter tournament dates have been allotted to the Cromwell Club, as well as a permit to hold a patriotic tournament on Labour Day The sum of £5 was voted to the Air Force Queen, and sums of £4 and £2 to the Cromwell and Bannockburn Clubs respectively for the use of their greens during last Easter tournament.
