TO-MORROW'S REGAL REVUE INTRODUCTION OF QUEENS A NOVEL ENTERTAINMENT When the curtain goes up on 'the Regal Introductory Revue in His Majesty's Theatre to-morrow night it will be apparent that the Otago Queen Carnival Executive ha. not worked in vain in its effort to produce something new and different in the way of enjoyable entertainment. The proceedings will be officially opened bv the Mayor (Mr A. H, Allen). No stone has been left unturned in an effort to give a fitting introduction to the three carnival queens—-Misses Jessie McLennan (Navy), Airini Grennell (Army), and Mary Pratt ,iAlr Force). The best entertainment talent available will appear, and there will be several novelty features of a high order. The "surprise packet" of the evening will be an entirely new form of presentation, entitled ,r The Drawing Room, of a Dunedin Home," in which a number of well-known local personalities will appear. In addition to band and orchestra] music, there will be a series of novel and lavishly - produced tableaux of a spectacular kind. "•• ■ The proceeds are to go to the> Rehabilitation Fund of Otago's fighting men, a cause that should appeal to all.
