TRIAL FOR NEW SYSTEM •' f ' v- • DECISION OF INDUSTRY A meeting of representatives of all sections of the fishing industry in Dunedin was held last night to discuss whether the auction system, should be retained or not. Fishermen, wholesalers and retailers made a thorough investigation into the position and finally the matter was held over for two or three weeks in order to give a trial to the new system, -by which it is hoped to provide the public with fish at cheaper prices.
