VESSELS IN COLLISION
OFF AFRICAN COAST V; THE CHELDALE SUNK (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) DURBAN, Feb. 18. The cargo steamers Greystoke Castle (5853 tons) and Cheldale (4218 tons) collided in the darkness. The Cheldale sank in three minutes. Two officers and 13 of the crew are missing. The third Officer and the wireless operator and 13 of the crew were landed.
