SUPREME COURT
PRISONERS SENTENCED (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 19. Prisoners . were sentenced by Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supreme Court to-day as follows: — Frederick Charles Rhode Clark, rape, five years’ imprisonment; George McDonald (Hamilton), breaking and entering, 18 months’ imprisonment; William Stephen Thomson, theft. 12 months’ imprisonment; James Mervyn Philp. theft and breaking and entering and receiving, three years in the Borstal, concurrent with a sentence he is now serving.
