DANCE HALL FIGHT

PARTICIPANT CHARGED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 19. A butcher named Matthew Alexander Doyle, aged 25 years, was charged in the Police Court with that on January 27, at Clark's Beach, with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Patrick John Boland, he did wound Boland. Evidence was given that an argument on political and religious grounds occurred at a dance hall at midnight, ending in Boland b.vig found with a serious wound in the throat. The accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
