(Received Feb. 18. at 10 p.m.) The interdominion trotting championships were concluded to-night in ideal conditions The final was_ marred by Icevus being thrown out by a mixup when he looked like winning, Logan Derby, with 18 points, was declared champion, and received an ovation from the crowd of 16,000. In the Championship Final Logan Derby (Tasmania) won £IOOO , and a : gold cup. Grand Mogul (New. Zealand) £IOOO. and Master Dixie (New South Wales) £6OO. and Moreica (Western Australia) £ 100. Icevus was not injured by the mishap. and will be matched with LOgan Derby over a mile on Monday in the programme .for championship nominated horses. The results were as follows: — INTEBDOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP First! Division Grand Mogul (N.Z.), scr (Anderson) 1 Master Dixie (New South Wales), scr (Chant) ....... .. .. ..2 Moreica, scr (Morgan) .. ... ~ 3 Our Globe (Tasmania). 12yds bhd (Lewis) ; 4 Nine started. Uenuku being scratched. Logan Derby galloped half a lap. Icevus, \Main Derby, and Grand. Mogul led going out to the last lap. Icevus and Radiant Walla collided and were out of the race. Grand Mogul won full o r running by a yard, with half a yard between second and third. Our Globe was a close fourth. Time, 3min 33isec. Logan Derby recorded the fastest time. 2min lOJsec.
