AMERICA SHOULD STAY OUT WASHINGTON, Sept. 15. (Received Sept. 17, at 6.30 p.m.) Colonel Lindberg, in a broadcast, pleaded with the United States to stay out of the European war, issuine a warning that the entrance of the imperial American democracy would mean the loss of several’ million lives. “It would ne madness to send soldiers to be killed, as was the case in the Great War. If the United States enters "Europe’s auarrels in war-time she must stay in them in peace-time. If war prostrates Europe Western civilisation’s greatest hope lies in a strong America.”
