FOOTBALL AT HOME
MATCHES TO PE RESUMED (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 16. (Received Sept. 17, at 6.30 p.m.) After a two hours’ meeting, the Scottish Football League decided to resume play on September 23. Players will receive a maximum wage of £2 in the First Division and £1 in the Second Division' matches. Clubs’ interests, it is stated, must not interfere with players engaged in national duties.
