BELLEKNOWES CLUB The following is the draw for a medal round to be played by the Belleknowes Ladies' Golf Club to-morrow, commencing at 12.30:—Miss Atkinson v. Mrs Beveridge, Mrs Falconer v. Mrs Lewis, Mrs Harrison' v. Mrs Daglish, Mrs Leihy v. Mrs Clulee. Mrs Cartwright v. Miss Jefferson, Miss Mullenger v. Mrs Wilkinson, Miss Bell v. Miss Wilkinson, Mra Campbell v. Miss Hindle, Mrs M'lver v. Mrs Oliver, Mrs Pitts v. Mrs Duncan. OTAGO LADIES' CLUB The annual Country Day was held at the Otago links yesterday. There was a very good entry—competitors coming from Cromwell, Roxburgh, Milton, Taieri and Balclutha. Mrs Hotop. from Cromwell, registered a good score, reducing her handicap by one stroke. Scores were as follows: Mrs Hotop, 96—23—73; Miss I. Gilmour (Roxburgh), 105—26—79; Mrs Mitchell (Taieri), 109—28—81; Mrs Callender (Otago), 96—17—79. In the afternoon Foursomes over nine holes were played, Mrs Gates (Otago) and Mrs Hitchon (Milton) proving the winners with a score of all square. LICENSED VICTUALLERS WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. The fifth annual tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers' Golf Association was concluded to-day. Eighty competitors entered into the various competitions in a care-free way. The Retailers' Championship was won by E. Manley, a handicap 14 player from the Seafield Club, Wanganui, who defeated J. N. Anderson, a Hawera Club player on the seven mark. Mr T. E. James (Wellington) won the Wholesalers' Championship, defeating J. Black (Wellington) 6 and 4 in the final. There were 37 events on the programme, even the limit men having a special competition of their own.
