AUSTRALIAN TOUR

— VISIT TO MELBOURNE CUP MEETING Opportunity for a month’s sightseeing under the most favourable conditions of modern travel is offered at a cost far below that usually associated with luxury cruises in a tour of Victoria and New South Wales which is to begin from Wellington on October 27. The party will visit many resorts of beauty and interest in the two States, and an especially attractive feature will be the Melbourne Cup race meeting, a colourful and exciting spectacle which in itself yearly attracts tourists from far abroad. All tours will be made by motor car, and the fare includes first-class hotel accommodation as well as theatre parties and incidental entertainments usually left to the expenses of the tourist. The party will leave Wellington for Melbourne by the Marama on Tuesday. October 27, but passengers by the Wanganella on October 22 may join the party at Melbourne. The return voyage will be made by the new liner Awatea, arriving at Wellington on November 23.
