Social Credit Movement The opening of the meeting place for followers of the social credit movement at Sawyers’ Bay was held on Saturday. The proceedings took the form of a garden party, and the gathering assembled in a large marquee, where Miss M. H. M. King presided over the meeting. Discussing “The New Era Foreshadowed by Abundant Production " Miss King stated that Socialistic politicians removed purchasing power from one pocket and transferred it to the other. This was not social credit. What was needed was a sufficiency of tickets—another word for money—to ensure existing production being made available to all. Representing Porlobello, Mr Moss outlined the loyalty of members and the efforts that had been made c;, further the interest of the movement Mr H.
