SAVOURS OF PERSECUTION. (Pres* Association —Er reegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 12. Palk’s warrant was dated August, 1925. and was for obtaining 70s by means of false pretences. —Sydney Sun Cable. A London cablegram published yesterday stated that Lawrence Palk, son and heir of Lord Haldon, has been arrested. Palk disappeared mysteriously from a city office on December 28 with a sum of money allegedly belonging to the office.
